The loaction is perfect - right in the heart of Tuscany - it feels very remote with access via a 'rustic' road (not for the fainthearted) but it is within easy reach of lots of beautiful towns (Anghiari - 20 minutes) and Florence, Siena, Bologna are all a manageable drive (1.5 hours). We visited in October so the large pool was covered and unavailable, but that would be a plus for a summer visit. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner they prepared for us on one night.
